CT Bloggers You Should Check Out (Pt. 2)
A few weeks ago we released a list of bloggers based out of Connecticut we thought you should check out. After the list was released we had many readers reach out to us with their favorite CT bloggers we should feature. With the new demand we decided to make a part 2! Below are a few of the bloggers your fellow readers recommend you check out.
Hello! My name is Brooke Gambardella. I am an Interior Design student and creating a blog was always something I wanted to do! I wanted a place where I can 100% be myself and share the things I love, and “By The Brooke” was just the place. I use my Instagram to supplement my blog and connect with people that have similar interests and style as me. I love anything comfortable and cozy, from clothing to interiors and everything in between! I look forward to growing my blog, meeting new people, and trying new things along the way.

My name is Michelle and I am a wife to the hardest working man I know, the mom to two beautiful daughters (who are 4 and 6 years old) and an entrepreneur to three businesses. As a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) turned stay at home mom (due to medical reasons… which obviously was NOT in the plan) I wanted to do more (as if raising two little ones isn’t enough). I became a Beautycounter Consultant and started a small shop making tutus and tutu dresses. My best friend then encouraged me to start blogging because I had so much to say, and it would be a good way for me to connect with other women in similar situations. That is how Mami Works was born. As my blog grows, I want to be that candid voice and share what I have learned in life… or didn't learn for that matter. I also want to find others with similar stories and discuss our journey as women, wives, moms, stay at home moms, work at home moms and/or an entrepreneurs. I know there is much comfort in knowing you are not alone… and strongly believe in community over competition.

Real Kids Eat Spinach
Susan Napolitano is a health coach and food blogger from Monroe, CT. Her site Real Kids Eat Spinach focuses on clean recipes for families, with a special nod to allergies and food sensitivities. She’s active in her community, offering nutritional talks and information at local schools and the town’s farmer market. Her recipes have also appeared in Relish, Paleo Living and Cooking Light magazines.
Some of her favorite local spots to eat well in CT are Pink Sumo Sushi in Westport, Farmhouse in Newtown and Carl Anthony’s in Monroe. While her two kids *do* eat spinach at home, they’ve also been known to get the occasional treat at Donut Crazy in Shelton and Cream & Sugar Cafe in Bethel. Susan loves including local produce in her recipes and discovering new healthy hotspots to share.
