Bar Louie (new menu items preview)
We had the pleasure of stopping by Bar Louie in Milford a few days ago to check out a few menu items that will be available starting June 21st. Below we'll give you a sneak peak of the dishes that you'll be able to order very soon and trust us, they're worth it.
This dish comes with two layers of chips topped with ranch, bacon, green onions, and blue cheese crumble. This would be a perfect appetizer for a table to split. The size was not overly large, which was good though because it was very filling. Chips were cut thick and fried perfectly.
Cheddar Crunch Burger
The cheddar crunch burger is a 6oz seasoned patty topped with chips, cheddar cheese, queso cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. This burger is quite the spectacle when it comes out to you stacked high with all the toppings. The beef is seasoned but not too much so you still taste the flavors of the cheddar cheese while getting the creaminess of the queso. The lettuce, tomato, and onion help to balance out the heaviness of the meat and cheese. Comes with a side of fries or tots.
This was possibly the best thing we tried at Bar Louie. The impossible burger is a veggie burger that contains no animal products. This is not your typical veggie burger though. Made from plant proteins, fat from coconut oil, and heme this burger is as close to a beef burger as you can get. Put simply: looks like a burger, feels like a burger, tastes like a burger. This comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Served with a side of tots or fries.
The perfect way to add to the meal is to pair your food with one of the many drinks and cocktails that are offered.
