Lavender Pond Farm

With spring quickly approaching it’s time to get outside and enjoy all that Connecticut has to offer! What better way to do that than enjoy a trip to a farm, a lavender farm that is! Lavender Pond Farm is located in Killingworth, Connecticut and offers countless activities for the whole family. Visit their 10,000 lavender plants spread out across 30+ beds, see the honey bees that live on site, take a ride on the LPF Express train to tour and learn about the grounds of the farm, visit the shoppe to purchase live plants as well as a collection of other lavender related items and goods, and most importantly take a stroll around the farm and relax.

Founded in 2014, Lavender Pond Farm is scheduled to open in May of this year as stated on their Facebook page where you can stay up to date with the farm, even when it’s closed for the winter. The farm is dog friendly, but it is requested dogs stay leashed while on the grounds.

There is no charge to visit the farm, but we highly suggest visiting the shoppe on site to not only support the farm, but also to be able to bring home some lavender items or even a plant.
